There’s a “perfect storm” in leadership today. And it is being fueled by a new generation of leaders.  By challenging the status quo, millennials, without even knowing it, are pushing us to “shift” the way we lead.

The so-called “soft” stuff that previous generations of leaders ridiculed as useless, today is key. Neuroscience is proving that intellect, which is one-third of our innate intelligences, is no longer enough. The other two-thirds, the intelligence of our hearts and our bodies, has wisdom that the mind does not. Knowing how to develop those intelligences within ourselves and our employees is critical to engage and thrive in this century. Today if leaders are not willing to make the “shift”, they will not succeed.
