Shamisen and Hayashi Concert "Yamato Gaku"

This concert is a rare opportunity to enjoy "YAMATOGAKU” featuring prominent Japanese artists Yamato Osho, on shamisen and Katada Shinjuro IV on percussion.

Both masters come from Japan to introduce this new genre of Japanese music to the people of Los Angeles and to perform alongside local musicians who are studying this music.

YAMATOGAKU is a modern-take on Japanese classical Kabuki music featuring shamisen, singing and percussion.
