In Japan, bōnenkai (literally, “forget the year gathering”) are banquet get-togethers usually held during the month of December. Companies often host the parties as a reward to employees for all their hard work throughout the year. The celebrations serve as a means to pass away the troubles of the year with friends, colleagues, and a feast.
Join the Japan America Society of Southern California for a special end-of-year bōnenkai and enjoy a festive venue with great food, great drinks, and great new friends. Kampai!
