Please join LMU in welcoming and enjoying presentations from Sophia University & LMU student leaders participating in the 2015 TOMODACHI Inouye Scholars Program. This program honors the late U.S. Senator Daniel K. Inouye of Hawaii, who believed that the relationship between the United States and Japan was the most important bilateral relationship in the world. Through diverse cultural and community activities, the program aims to broaden the perspectives of international leaders who will carry the future of U.S.-Japan relations. Generously supported by the Government of Japan’s KAKEHASHI Project, administered by the Japan Foundation and the US Japan Council, the program is unique in that participants from Japan learn about Japanese Americans, their history in the United States, and examples of their leadership in the legacy of Senator Inouye. Directions to Reception: Check-in at the Kiosk located on your left as you enter through the Lincoln Blvd entrance. They will instruct you to University Hall, the Roski Dinig Room and where to park. The best place to park will be the underground parking (P2). It is the first entrance on the right. Take the elevator to the 1st floor and take an immediate right once you leave the elevator lobby. Go all the way down the hall and it is the last room on your right.
