2020 Women on Boards is a national campaign dedicated to increasing the percentage of women on corporate boards to 20% by 2020. The campaign will redefine successful corporate governance, gender diversity standards, and creates a cultural imperative for corporate action.
On November 20, in cities across the U.S. and throughout the world, C-Suite and senior executives will discuss:
"What will it take for the U.S. to become a global leader in the advancement of women to company boards?"
- Will states or the federal government need to legislate change?
- Will a SEC or legislative ‘comply or explain’ directive work?
- Will women need to be more vocal and assertive on the issue?
- Will men need to embrace and become leaders in the diversity and inclusion movement?
- Will shareholder activists need to vote out all male boards?
As one of our "Women's Leadership Counts" series of events for 2014, The Japan America Society of Southern California invites you to attend the annual 2020 Women On Boards "National Conversation" luncheon.Speakers:
