Dear JASSC Members, Supporters and Friends,

Greetings!  As the new Chair, I would like to thank you for your continued support of Japan America Society of Southern California (JASSC).My relationship with JASSC has spanned over 10 years.  It has been a great experience and I have met a lot of amazing people.  This year, we will continue to operate with safety and care under the pandemic, but we are starting to see there is  light at the end of the tunnel.  While we may not experience in-person events with the same frequency as that of 2019, we can now prepare for activities under the new normal.

When you think of JASSC, I hope you can remember our motto of “LUE-3”.

L = Learn
U = Unity
E = Empathy
E = Experience
E = Enjoy

“LUE-3” is my goal for what you will experience through your involvement with JASSC.This is now our 112^th year. JASSC seeks your support in our continuing important mission to build the relationship between Japan and the U.S.

Corporate Membership:
We value your membership immensely.  By joining or renewing, you and your employees will continue to enjoy the large variety of Business, Public Affairs, Educational and Cultural programs.  The networking opportunities that JASSC offers are second to none!

When you donate to a program or event, we will always work towards the assurance that your sponsorship is of value to you.  Your corporate presence and support are greatly appreciated by JAS, respected by the attendees, and provide visible goodwill far beyond our membership base.

 皆様、こんにちは。南カリフォルニア日米協会の新会長に任命されました三好麻里です。このような素晴らしい機会を与えて頂き会員の皆様・友人達に感謝とご挨拶を申し上げます。日米協会とは10年以上の関係が続いております。なぜならJASSCでは素晴らしい経験が出来、また素晴らしい人達と出会う事が出来るからです。残念なことにまだパンデミックの中で、2019年の様な活動はまだできません。しかし少しだけトンネルの終わりに光が見えてきたと思います。ですから私達はニューノーマルでの活動の準備をし始めました。私は日米協会で「合言葉」を作りました。「LUE-3」「ルースリー」です。LはLearn（学ぶ）UはUnity（結束）、3つあるEの1つ目はEmpathy（共感）2つ目はExperience（経験）3つ目はEnjoy（楽しむ）です。この合言葉を覚えて頂き、日米協会のミッションとゴールを掲げ、是非私と一緒に次なる100年へ向けて魅力ある日米協会を作って行きませんか。
