Near and Far: Landscapes by Japanese Artists
Rotation 2: Idealization of Realty
The landscape exhibition takes a look at the concepts behind the depiction of "real" or "imaginary" landscapes.

In the two rotations, the exhibitions are exploring from where the artists drew their inspiration, which motifs in landscape painting were popular and how they were interpreted by the artists.

The Clark Center for Japanese Art and Culture is located at 15770 Tenth Ave, Hanford, CA 93230. Hanford is located in Central California. Three-hour drive from Los Angeles to Hanford.

Gallery Hours:
Tuesday through Saturday, 12:30 - 5 p.m.
Closed on Sunday, Monday, and national holidays

Admission:
$5 for adults, $3 for students and active military service with valid ID. Children 12 and under free.

Weekly docent tours are held Saturdays at 1 p.m. and guided group tours can be arranged by calling the Clark Center in advance at (559) 582-4915.
