Various activities and performances will also be held throughout the day!

Performances:

Taiko Drums
Kagamibiraki (a sake barrel breaking ceremony)
Lion Dances
Japanese Folk Songs and Dances
Japanese Calligraphy
Mochi (pounded rice cake) toss from the stage by the 2011 Nisei Week Queen and her court, and members of LA Kimono Club
Kimono Fashion Show by LA Kimono Club

Activities:

Japanese food booths offering delicacies such asmochi (rice cakes), yakisoba, onigiri and amazake!
Children's craft booths such as Origami (the art of paper folding) and Kite making.
Goodie bags for the children (while supplies last) visiting Weller Court and Japanese Village Plaza!
