Concert 1

Date: Saturday, May 7, 2016 7:30pm

Place: Zipper Hall, Colburn School of Music
200 S. Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012

(across from the Broad Museum/ Walt Disney Concert Hall)

This concert will be performed solely by the Colburn Community Chorale (Dr. Mikhail Shtangrud, director)

Concerts 2 & 3

Date: Saturday, May 14, 2016 1:30pm and 3:30pm

Place: Zipper Hall, Colburn School of Music

200 S. Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012

(across from the Broad Museum/ Walt Disney Concert Hall)

This concert will be performed by the Colburn Community Chorale, Chamber Singers, Concert Choir, Junior Chorus, etc… (Dr. Mikhail Shtangrud, director)

Program will be a combination of classical, baroque and popular music.

Mass No.2 in G
Franz Schubert  - composed when Schubert was 30 years old, known as the ‘shorter’ mass. Considered one the most beautiful.

Jim Papoulis - this music was commissioned by the Colburn School for Mikhail Shtangrud, director. It will be the first debut performance.
